The MCOA Members' Education Committee presents a Beginning Handling clinic, taught by a
successful breeder-owner –handler. This clinic is specifically designed to instruct the novice handler to show and compete
successfully with your mastiff in the conformation ring. In addition to teaching and honing handling skills and techniques,
this clinic will also familiarize the student with ring protocol. This clinic is NOT designed to train your mastiff.
Please bring a trained mastiff over one year old. No bitches in season, please.

Registration: Pre-registration is required for ALL participants. The
class is limited to 25 student handlers. Audit space is unlimited. First come, first served.
This seminar
is only open to MCOA Members and Associate Members and is free.

is specifically designed to hone the handling skills and techniques of the experienced mastiff handler in the breed and group
ring.
Prerequisite: Handled at least one mastiff to a Championship.
This clinic is NOT designed to train your mastiff.
Please bring a trained mastiff over one year old. No bitches in season, please.
Instructor: Dick Greaver
Registration: Pre-registration is required for ALL participants. The class is limited
to 25 student handlers. Audit space is unlimited. First come, first served.

BREED EDUCATION SEMINARS:

Mastiff—Not Just a Beautiful Face: Relating the Mastiff Breed Standard to Correct Structure and Movement”

Committee presents a seminar by Diane Collings, designed for both the experienced and novice mastiff owner and breeder.
Discussion will focus on the definition of correct mastiff structure and movement and how this is interpreted in the mastiff
standard. In addition to live top winning mastiffs to demonstrate, Diane will utilize the official MCOA Judges’
Education Power Point presentation for discussion and demonstration. There will be ample time allowed for questions.
