Greenwich Kennel Club Supported Entry!

ESMF will be supporting the mastiff entry with trophies at the Greenwich Kennel Club show to be held in Norwalk, CT Saturday June 12. This show has a Best Puppy competition as well as a special Veterans class competing for Breed. Edeltraud Laurin is scheduled to be the mastiff judge. The Greenwich Kennel Club is also sponsoring a Meet The Breed event during the show. ESMF members will be participating, times will be announced once the judging program is set. Save the date now!

Kanadasaga Supported Entry

ESMF will be supporting the mastiff entry with trophies at the Kanadasaga Kennel Club show to be held in Romulus, NY Saturday October 2. Paula Nykiel is scheduled to be the mastiff judge. ESMF members will also be manning a breed education table at the show. Save the date now!

2010 & 2011 Specialty News

2010
ESMF placed an ad this year's catalog wishing all of the exhibitors at the 2010 Specialty best of luck. We also made a contribution to the Welcome Party and sponsored the trophies for the 12-18 Dog Class. Good luck and enjoy to any of our members attending!

2011
Chairs and Committees are forming up. There several committees that still need chairs and plenty will need volunteers. There is now a Facebook page: 2011 MCOA National Specialty that will help keep everyone up to date. Become a fan and check out the notes tab. There is a full listing of the Committees. If you are interested in helping out contact the committee chair. Rockland KC ESMF/MCOA Supported Entry — Feb 27, 2010

Rockland— ESMF held its first MCOA supported entry at the February 27th Rockland Kennel Club show. Despite a record snowfall the day before which caused a delay in judging and extra travel time on the snow covered roads, we had a good turnout. 13 out of 18 dogs made it to the show. Not bad considering the snow was being mesured in feet not inches! Rockland KC gave us a very generous sized ring appropriate for mastiffs. Judge Ed Lyons was a very patient judge. We had several young pups coming our for the very first time and he made it a good experience for them! We were able to offer trophies to BOB (an MCOA BOB plaque, a dog bed and mastiff poem print) and to BOS,WD and WD (a dog bed and mastiff poem print)
